This page explains how to request deletion of your HookTally account and associated data. HookTally is published on Google Play by croWire.
How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to hooktally@gmail.com from the email address linked to your HookTally account.
- Use a clear subject such as "HookTally account deletion request".
- If you want only specific data deleted and not the full account, describe that in the email.
What We Delete
- Your HookTally account profile and associated catch records stored for that account.
- Uploaded catch and custom-species photos stored for that account, subject to normal backup expiry.
- Custom species, custom baits, and related per-account progress data that belong to the account.
What May Be Retained
- Billing, subscription, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, security, or legal-compliance records that we must keep for legitimate reasons.
- Limited residual copies in backups until the relevant backup cycle expires.
Important Billing Note
Deleting your HookTally account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Stripe subscription. Cancel the subscription separately through the store or billing provider before or alongside your deletion request.
